2/1/26: ArtsFarmington presents Silent Movie Comedy Festival featuring Doug Protsik on piano

Celebrate 100 years since the Silent Movie era. The Silent Film Comedy Festival showcases classic “two-reelers” from before the 1920s, highlighting “the big three kings of silent film comedy”: Buster Keaton, Charlie Chaplin, and Harold Lloyd. All films are expertly accompanied by Doug Protsik, UMF graduate who is returning for another evening of old-fashioned entertainment.
These were the 20 minute shorts that propelled these masters of comedy into the era of the feature film and defined their screen image and established their popularity and future success.
